Clinical Supervision

Invest in the Therapist You're Becoming

Quality supervision is about more than fulfilling licensure requirements—it's about developing the confidence, clinical judgment, and professional identity that will shape your career for years to come.

My goal is to provide a supportive, challenging, and collaborative learning environment where you can develop your clinical skills, navigate difficult cases, strengthen your therapeutic approach, and grow into an ethical and confident clinician. Whether you're working with anxiety, trauma, couples, families, or complex presentations, supervision is designed to help you think critically, expand your clinical toolbox, and become the therapist your clients deserve.

Supervision with me is individualized to your learning style and professional goals. Together we'll explore case conceptualization, diagnosis, treatment planning, documentation, ethics, evidence-based interventions, countertransference, professional development, and the realities of building a successful career in mental health.

Supervision in Pennsylvania

Pennsylvania requires post-graduate supervised clinical experience for professionals seeking independent licensure. The specific supervision requirements vary by profession, but all require supervision by qualified clinicians who meet the standards established by the Pennsylvania State Board.

Licensed Associate Professional Counselors (LAPCs)

As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), I provide supervision for Licensed Associate Professional Counselors (LAPCs) pursuing independent LPC licensure in Pennsylvania. My supervision focuses on developing clinical confidence, ethical decision-making, diagnosis, treatment planning, documentation, and evidence-based interventions while ensuring you meet the professional competencies expected of an independently licensed counselor. Pennsylvania requires that at least half of an LAPC's supervision be provided by an LPC with the required supervisory qualifications. I can provide 100% of your hours.

Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapists (LAMFTs)

I provide supervision to Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapists (LAMFTs) in areas permitted under Pennsylvania regulations. This includes strengthening systemic thinking, relational assessment, couples and family interventions, ethical practice, and clinical development. Pennsylvania requires that at least half of a LAMFT's supervision be provided by an AAMFT Approved Supervisor (or Supervisor-in-Training), while other qualifying supervision may be provided by appropriately licensed professionals who meet Board requirements. I can provide up to ½ of your hours!

Licensed Social Workers (LSWs) Pursuing LCSW Licensure

I provide consultation, clinical education, and professional development for Licensed Social Workers; however, Pennsylvania requires that the supervision used toward LCSW licensure be provided by a qualified Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). If your goal is LCSW licensure, I encourage working with an approved LCSW supervisor for your required supervision hours while utilizing additional consultation as desired to enhance your clinical growth. I can provide ½ of your hours!

My Approach to Supervision

I believe excellent therapists are not created by memorizing interventions—they are developed through thoughtful reflection, honest feedback, curiosity, and deliberate practice.

My supervision style is supportive without being passive, challenging without being intimidating, and grounded in both clinical science and real-world practice. You'll receive practical feedback you can immediately apply in session while developing a deeper understanding of why interventions work, how to conceptualize complex cases, and how to remain authentic as a therapist.

Whether you're just beginning your professional journey or refining your clinical identity, my commitment is to help you become a skilled, ethical, and confident clinician who provides exceptional care to every client you serve.
